The Collector is International Fair for Stamps, Coins & Accessories at the Prague Exhibition Grounds. Main organiser of the event is Progres Partners Advertising S.R.O.The Collector is said to be the largest event of its kind in whole Europe.
The Collector is under the patronage of Minister of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic Mrs. Miroslava Kopicová and Mayor of the city of Prague Pavel Bém. The Czech Post is a major patron as well.
The Collector is an event that gathers stamp collectors, trade dealers and professionals related to the industry from all over Europe. Of course the general public is kindly incited in this world of magic, travel, history and anticipation, everything that a single stamp can represent in such a small piece of paper. All kinds of fields of collectors’ interest like comprises philately, numismatics, minerals, gemstones, cards, historical postcards, posters and others will be exhibited.
The fair enjoys a huge media interest and more than 12.000 visitors very year. About 230 exhibitors from 40 different countries show their products at the Collector. The percent of happy people, who would like to visit the fair one more time is extremely high- 96%. Every year the organisers try to make a special fair promotional campaign to entertain their visitors.
